Homework Helps 2001-2 - Week 14

READING: Read a minimum of 20 minutes each night including weekends. Tom Sawyer is due at the end of November. Do a double entry journal; remember that one of the themes is "growing-up". November's general log is due 11/30. OR - Do we need to reset the date?

VOCABULARY AND SPELLING: Unit 14. Basic: reference, transfer, abstract, traceable, disposal, purpose, differ, proposal, contract, opposite, preposition, confer, distract, exposure, posture, inference, traction, transpose, fertile, preference. Review: impose, disposition, dictionary, encyclopedia, bibliography. Challenge: composite, juxtapose, protractor, decompose, superimpose. Do pp. 90-95 except p. 93's "Write a Letter". Or do the alternate vocabulary assignment.
