READING: Read a minimum of 20 minutes each night including weekends. March’s log is due 3/29/02. Read a book of your choice.
VOCABULARY AND SPELLING: Unit 26. Basic: structure, complexity, reconstruct, complication, sensible, obstruct, imply, pliers, sentry, sensation, accomplice, destruction, resent, sentimental, applicable, sensor, perplex, multiplication, instructor, sensitivity. Review: application, duplicate, architecture, column, design. Challenge: replica, consensus, explicit, implicit, pliable. Do pp. 162-167, except "Write a Letter to the Editor." OR: write a definition and sentence for each word. OR: write analogies, similes, and metaphors for each word. Test Friday.

SOCIAL STUDIES: Chapter 9. Mind maps due with the test on 3/14. Mind maps Chapter 10 – begin.
PROBLEM SOLUTION LETTER: Choose a person in authority to whom you wish to write a problem solution letter. I will send this letter when it is perfect, which means you will probably do several edited drafts. It is due before the end of the quarter.
POETRY PROJECT: We will begin to write and collect poems for a project.
