SPELLING: Define each word as it
applies to social studies chapters 14 and 15. WORDS:
Oregon Trail, rancho, interloper, Mexican War, missions, homestead,
Mormons, Salt Lake City, Zebulon Pike, hazard, Land grant, Marcus Whittman,
legacy, Chinese, forty. Define and write an original sentence with each one;
also draw an icon for each. Due with the test on Friday.
For a grade of "C" the standard is 10 words written correctly; "B" is 13
words; "A" 15 words. Completed homework is half the grade. (VOCABULARY AND SPELLING -
PLAN B)
MIND MAPS: Mind maps for Chapters 15 and 16 due with the test
