Homework Helps - April 23, 2001 - Week 31

READING: Read a minimum of 20 minutes each night including weekends. You will need to spend this time to finish the required literature books and books of your choice for book reports. The next book is Red Badge of Courage or Rifles for Waite or Across 5 Aprils - your choice of 2. Test on Lyddie 4/24.

SPELLING: Unit 28. Do all exercises pp.174-179 except p. 177 "Write a Description." Test Friday.

CURRENT EVENTS: Due ______________________________. 

SOCIAL STUDIES: Take notes Chapter 12. You should be on Lesson 4.

CIVIL WAR ARTIFACT: Research, find or make, and present an "artifact" from your Civil War characters - one each. This is to be a "museum" piece with identification, history, donor's name, use, where it was found, etc. on a 3X5 card. To be presented next week.

 

STORY: Final revision of your story. Bind it and add any art work you wish. Due May 4.
