Homework Helps - April 30, 2001 - Week 32
READING: Read a minimum of 20 minutes each night including weekends. You will need to spend this time to finish the required literature books and books of your choice for book reports. The next book is Rifles for Waite or Across 5 Aprils - your choice of 2. Some of you will wish to read Ender's Game, too.
SPELLING: No spelling this week

SOCIAL STUDIES: Take notes Chapter 12. You should be finished. Bring all lessons with you daily.
CIVIL WAR ARTIFACT: Research, find or make, and present an "artifact" from your Civil War characters - one each. This is to be a "museum" piece with identification, history, donor's name, use, where it was found, etc. on a 3X5 card. To be presented 5/3.
TECHNICAL READING: Each day this week bring masking or electrical tape and a pair of scissors for making a geometric shape by following written instructions.
STORY: Final revision of your story. Bind it and add any art work you wish. Due May 4.
