READING: Read a minimum of 20 minutes each night including weekends.  Keep a nightly reading log of the pages you have read.  Have your parent sign it before you turn it in. Due 10/31/08. 

 VOCABULARY AND SPELLING:  List each word and derivitive words from social studies Chapter 6.  Words:  taxation without representation, KingGeorgeIII, independence, petition, Patrick Henry, Virginia House of Burgesses, Second Continental Congress, GeorgeWashington, Battle of Bunker Hill, Ticonderoga , seige, traitor, Olive Branch Petition, Common Sense, Declaration of Independence .  List a definition, original sentence, and an icon for each word.  Due on Friday, October 10, and there will be a test. For a grade of "C" the standard is 10 words written correctly; "B" is 13 words; "A" 15 words. Completed homework is half the grade.  VOCABULARY AND SPELLING(Plan B)

AMERICAN REVOLUTIONARY WAR JOURNAL PROJECT:  Choose a person from United States History 1763 - 1787.  Create a report about that person's life; present the report as a first person journal,   newspaper , or series of letters.
