READING: Read a minimum of 20 minutes each night including weekends. Read a book of your choice; keep a reading log.

VOCABULARY AND SPELLING:  List each word and derivitive words from social studies Chapter 7.  Words:  Revolutionary War, mercenaries, Continental Army, honorably, strategy, ally, guerrillas, Yorktown Virginia, Trenton, Valley Forge, The Crisis, General Cornwallis, General George Washington, Saratoga, Nathaniel Green, Lafayette, Treaty of Paris.  List a definition, original sentence, and an icon for each word.  Due on Friday, October 31, and there will be a test. For a grade of "C" the standard is 10 words written correctly; "B" is 13 words; "A" 15 words. Completed homework is half the grade.

AMERICAN REVOLUTIONARY WAR JOURNAL PROJECT:  Choose a person from United States History 1763 - 1787.  Create a report about that person's life; present the report as a first person journal,   newspaper , or series of letters. 
Last page must be a bibliography in MLA format.
