MIND MAPS :    Create mind maps for Chapter 8. Mind Map format Chapter 8 .  Essay question:  Write a 5 paragraph evaluative essay to discuss the Great Compromise, the Three-Fifths Compromise, and the Electoral College.  Essay outline
Remember that an evaluative essay discusses both the good and bad points of each item.  Test 11/24/08.

EXPOSITORY ESSAY: What makes a resilient person? Use examples from The Diary of
Anne Frank or a book of your choice.  Second rough draft due 12/2/08.

COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECT:  Each eighth grade student at Windsor Middle School provides 5 or more hours of public service as a part of the social studies grade.  Due December 12, 2008.
