SPELLING: Define each word as it applies to Chapter 22. WORDS:
Define each word as it applies to literature: genre, allegory,
alliteration, analogy, antagonist, character, characterization, climax,
conflict, cliche, comedy, dialogue, fiction, flashback, foreshadowing.
Define, give the page where it is used, and write an original sentence with each
one; also draw an icon for each. Due with the test on Friday. For a grade of "C"
the standard is 10 words written correctly; "B" is 13 words; "A" 15 words.

PROBLEM SOLUTION LETTER : Write a letter to send to someone in authority posing a
solution to a current problem in the school, community, state, or nation.
The grade for this letter will be entered when I send the letter to the
appropriate person. Letter samples available on the internet.
Next draft due anytime you would like your grade to include an "A" for this
project. Quarter ends 3/15/09.
