I'm not an addict.  I can quit anytime I want.  And why are you sticking
your nose into my personal life!!!  Who do you think you are!!!!!!!!!!!!

I swear.  The nerve of some people.  You read a few books and they jump all
over you.  I mean, you can't go to tractor pulls every night can you?
Besides, it's just to relax me in between watching Simpsons and Survivor
reruns.  It's not anything serious, you know.  Besides, all my friends read
literature.  They said to me "Sonny boy, you have to go with the flow.
Everyone's doing it.  Try it.  You'll like it."  Well, I did and I do, but
that doesn't make me an addict.  You should see me reading.  I look cool
when I do it.  The smell of that ink on the paper.  The crisp binding on a
new paperback Asimov or the smooth pages on an old dog-eared copy of Citizen
Kane.  Let me tell you, my friend.  There's nothing finer in this world.  It
defines you.  Pure ecstasy.  Besides, it's not passe' like poetry recitals.
Those guys just need to get into the 21st century.  Like for sure.  Who do
they think they are, anyway?  I mean, why come after readers when all those
poetry recitin' fairies are out there.  Come on, world!!  Get with the
program!!!!!!!  Help those who really need
help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
