Mandala - examples and directions

To do a mandala of a character, choose seven categories from the mandalla chart which you would like. Starting with the Sun Image, think of a reason you would choose a specific plant, animal, gem, element etc., for your character. for example, for Molly, the pony in Animal Farm, you might choose a mouse as an animal sun image, because she is shy and sneaky. then move to the next column and write down the reason, for example "bold and open" write that in the shadow quality. Next, what kind of an animal is bold and open? Write that ; perhaps an orangutan. Then think of a symbol for that to use on the circle mandalla. You must use all the sun symbols and shadow symbols on your mandalla. Finish each of the categories. Your circle mandalla will have a minimum of 14 symbols.
