_____ 5 points - The anthology will be securely and permanently bound.

_____ 5 points - The title page will include the title you have created for the anthology; the subtitle: A Personal Anthology. It must also contain your name, school, grade, and year. It may contain additional information if you choose.

_____ 10 points - The table of contents must be clearly organized in a logical pattern. Title, author, and page will be given for each work.

_____ 30 points - The preface will introduce your anthology. The preface reflects your thoughts, observations, and/or feelings about the works and the process of writing and choosing them. The preface is a page long. All poems are presented immediately after the preface.

_____ 10 points - typed, photocopied, or in calligraphy.

_____ 5 points - pages numbered consecutively

_____ 10 points - bibliography listing your sources will appear at the end of the anthology. The bibliography may be prepared according to formal guidelines, or it may be informal and anecdotal. Either type must be organized alphabetically by author's last names.

_____ 5 points - Biographical data may be presented as end notes or footnotes.

_____ 20 points - The anthology will include a wide variety of works.
