Dear Sir,

This School has a problem; I believe the curriculum at this school could use some revision. I also believe that foreign languages should be required if only for one year. Of course, these changes could not occur immediately or even in the near future. I am simple submitting these suggestions for further reference.

As I said in the previous paragraph, I believe the school's curriculum could do with some revision. Last summer I enrolled in a course at Loyola Marymount University where I felt I was at a serious disadvantage due to lack of grammerical knowledge. Therefore, I respectfully suggest that simple skills such as diagramming sentences should be required at the middle school. I'm also suggesting that the school offer a broader variety of electives such as typing because not all the student at this school can type very well, including myself.

Having more teachers would be expensive, I know, but even if you required more in-depth projects that are really interesting like the colony project it would help. Sentence diagramming I think should be something required to learn at an earlier level, but since it is not, the teachers at the middle school should teach it. Many of my fellow students would say we don't need diagramming, but if they ever try to learn another language, it would come in handy. Luckily most of us will not need to lelarn to conjugate, since English is our first language.

As a student I really don't know what it would take to put any of these suggestions into practice so thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope you consider it.

Sincerely,
