In making this map of the United States, you will gain the information needed to understand the history of this country from 1492 to 1914. The more complete and neat your work, the better you will "get" the rest of the year's knowledge. A grade of "C" can usually be earned in about a week's worth of effort; a grade of "B" or "A" takes about two weeks and requires outside research from the library or sources at home.
